Ben Kinne joined Sanford Sports Academy in 2021. Before he took up coaching, Kinne played Division I hockey at Bemidji State University. He has been the head coach for the boy’s hockey team at Bemidji High School since 2023. 

As a coach, Kinne loves to teach the basics. He strives to challenge his athletes to focus and perform at a high level while incorporating fun competitions. Kinne wants his players to be fierce competitors who are creative and driven to be their best. 

The best part of being a coach for Kinne is watching his players progress and grow through consistent work.
