Mandy Heins has been with Sanford Sports Academy since 2018. She spent one year as an assistant volleyball coach at Concordia College and was a volunteer assistant for one season at Augustana University. 

Heins strives to create a safe environment where athletes can recover from mistakes and be pushed outside their comfort zone – because that’s how progress is made. She believes in preparing athletes to help them be confident in their skills in a competitive situation.

Heins’ favorite part of every season is looking back to where her athletes started and seeing how far they’ve improved in just a few months of hard work.
