Lessons are available year-round. Athletes can work one-on-one or in small groups of three to four players. Schedule lessons individually or as a package.
1-on-1 training sessions are designed based on the individual athlete's skill level (beginner, intermediate, advanced). Please note that we may occasionally pair athletes together during one on one training for demonstration and variety of drill work.
Athletes will have one session per week and packages come in a single, 6 week, 8 week or 12 week option.
Small group training is designed around athletes' age, skill level, and position.
Your group of 3-4 athletes will have one session per week and packages come in a single, 6 week, 8 week or 12 week option.
The 30/30 program is for athletes ages 6-12, and it combines one half hour of strength and agility training with one half hour of football fundamentals.
It is a great way for growing athletes to work on their overall athletic development as well as football skills. Kids can come once or twice a week, or as their busy football schedule allows.

Join a Sanford Sports Academy team for an exciting season of football that centers around teamwork, fun and friendly competition. Whether you like fast-paced 7-on-7 touch football or enjoy the strategy of flag football, we have something for everyone.
This fast-paced, non-tackle version of football is played with seven players on each side. Instead of tackling, players use two hands to touch the other player down. Without a traditional offensive or defensive line, it creates an open-field environment that emphasizes agility, teamwork and quick decision-making.
All 7-on-7 teams are based at the Sanford Fieldhouse and open to boys ages 10U through 18U. The season begins in February and ends in May. During that time, players participate in practices and compete in three to five tournaments.
Uniforms, practice gear and travel gear are provided.
Flag football is a non-contact version of traditional football. Instead of tackling, players pull flags from the ball carrier’s waist to stop play. It emphasizes speed, agility and strategy, allowing players to enjoy the thrill of football without the physical contact. With smaller teams and a faster pace, flag football is perfect for players of all skill levels looking for a fun, active way to compete.
Flag football is offered through our partnership with South Dakota Junior Football. Leagues are open to elementary and middle school athletes.
Flag football isn’t just for kids! Sanford Sports offers adult indoor and outdoor adult flag football leagues in the fall and winter. Get some friends together to play 5-on-5 on the Sanford Fieldhouse FieldTurf. Teams can have as many as 12 players.
