
Korie Riely
High School Strength & Conditioning CoachKorie Riely is a high school strength and conditioning coach. She started with Sanford Sports in 2024.
Her coaching career began in 2023 as an intern at the University of Mary where she worked with the football and volleyball teams. After a brief stint at North Dakota State University, Riely became the head strength and conditioning coach at Watford City High School.
She describes her coaching style as holistic, aiming to foster better people in addition to faster-stronger-better athletes. Riely strives to create an environment that builds confidence, diligence and community. Her approach to training focuses on the process rather than results.
Riely enjoys working at Sanford Sports because of the supportive and diverse team working together toward a shared goal. She knows there is always a coworker or mentor she can train with or field ideas to improve her coaching and programming.
Riely has a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). She has a level one weightlifting certification from USA Weightlifting and is a Parisi Performance Coach.
In her collegiate career, Riely earned NSIC All-Academic and All-District Team honors, as well as the Northern Sun Myles Brand Award and the University of Mary Strength and Conditioning Award for swimming and diving.
