Sanford Sports Performance begins services at Fargo Parks Sports Center
Sanford Sports Performance in Fargo is officially in its new home.
Sanford Sports Performance is officially operating at the Fargo Parks Sports Center at the Sanford Sports Complex, 6100 38th St. S., Fargo. The new location is open for members, training groups and sports physical therapy patients.
Sanford Sports Performance will begin summer programming at the facility on June 3rd, the official opening date for the Fargo Parks Sports Center. The Sanford Sports Academy volleyball and basketball programs will kick off their summer programming on June 3rd as well.
“We have been waiting for this day to arrive, and we could not be happier to begin our next adventure at the Fargo Parks Sports Center,” said Randy Martin, Sanford Sports Performance manager. “This state-of-the art facility gives us the space to accommodate the increasing need of research-backed services for athletes in our community. This new facility will be a game-changer that will take the services that we offer to the next level.”
The new location will offer Sanford Sports Performance members access to the following amenities and services:
- Eight physical therapy treatment rooms
- 2,2213 square-foot physical therapy gym
- Therapy pool with hot and cold plunge and underwater treadmill
- 7,903 square-foot strength and conditioning space with new strength training and cardio equipment
- Expanded locker rooms
- Indoor turf field and sprint lanes
- Sanford Orthopedics and Sports medicine athletic training services
Sanford Sports Performance services that are offered include:
- Speed and agility training
- Strength training
- Endurance training
- Sports physical therapy, including services such as:
- Aquatic Therapy
- Sanford Health Athletic Readiness Program
- Runners Clinic
- AlterG Treadmill
- Blood Flow Restriction Training
- Dry Needling
- Sports nutrition
- Mental performance
- Workout recovery
- Testing
There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at 3:30 p.m. and a grand opening party from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, to celebrate the opening of The Fargo Parks Sports Center at the Sanford Sports Complex. This event is free and open to the public. The Fargo Parks Sports Center will not open for general public use until Monday, June 3.
