Professional Fighters League (PFL) coming to the Sanford Pentagon

The Professional Fighters League (PFL) will make its South Dakota debut at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls on June 28, 2024, and will feature a local fighter. Ahead of the event, learn about the league and how to get tickets.
What is the PFL?
PFL is the fastest growing sports league in the world. Founded in 2018, this mixed martial arts (MMA) league brings together fighters to compete in regular season, playoff and championship events.
PFL has five live fight franchises and six weight divisions. In each division, 10 fighters compete twice during the regular season. Each fight consists of three 5-minute rounds.
PFL Point System
Win: 3 points
Draw: 1 point
Loss: 0 points
Round 1 Stoppage: 3 bonus points
Round 2 Stoppage: 2 bonus points
Round 3 Stoppage: 1 bonus point
Example: Fighter wins by 2nd round TKO = 5 points
The top four fighters with the most points in each division at the end of the regular season advance to the single-elimination playoffs, culminating at the PFL World Championship. The winners of each division's title bout earns $1 million and the title of PFL World Champion.

Who is fighting?
The event at the Sanford Pentagon will be part of the 2024 PFL regular season and will feature the welterweight and featherweight divisions. South Dakota’s own Logan Storley will go head-to-head with Luca Poclit in the main event for the welterweight division.
