Blake Svoboda has been with the Sanford Sports Academy since 2024. He played college baseball at Mount Marty University and later professionally for the Sioux Falls Canaries in 2021 and the MLB Draft League in 2022. Svoboda brings an authoritarian coaching style to the Sanford Sports Academy. With this style, athletes learn discipline, how to set goals and work hard to reach those goals.  

Svoboda enjoys being a part of the Sanford Sports Academy because he says it feels like one big community. The coaches he works with are well-experienced, and he learns valuable insights about coaching from them. He enjoys mentoring the athletes he coaches and helping them reach their goals.
