Emily Dietz joined Sanford Sports Academy in 2024. She played in 131 college basketball games at North Dakota State University. After graduating, she spent two seasons as a graduate assistant coach at NDSU.

Dietz’s coaching style consists of building confidence in athletes with intentional communication and putting them in game-like situations during practice. She strives to create a space where athletes can feel comfortable asking questions, being pushed and growing their whole selves through the sport of basketball. She helps athletes develop and refine their skills by sharing her experience in the sport and conducting drills that have a proven track record to help athletes develop.

Dietz enjoys working with other Sanford Sports Academy coaches and athletes because of the energy they bring to the court every day.
